INGREDIENTS
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 cup high ptotein cereal flakes (Special K Protein Plus or Kashi Go Lean)
1/2 cup skim milk
2 egg whites
1 low sodium chicken or beef bouillon cube
3 tablespoon of minced onion
PREPARATION
Combine cereal, skim milk, chicken or beef bouillon, onion and egg whites in a bowl
Let stand about 5 minutes so cereal flakes get mushy
Add turkey and mix well with hands
Make into patties (about 6)
Grill or bake @ 350 degrees
Use Smart Bagels, Ezekiel Buns or whole grain buns (or no buns at all!!)
