Fun Workouts, Snacks, Goodies & Perfect Weather at Self Magazine Workout in Central Park
What started of as a gray and rainy morning in New York turned out to be a sunny and perfect weather day at Central Park. The 17th edition of SELF Magazine Workout in the Park celebrated the Spring and the kick of for the Summer.
That was my first time at SELF Magazine Workout in Central Park, and I was impressed with the amount of women exercising together like they were one in the same.
On the Main Stage receive very cool sessions, such as Masala Bhangra -dance moves and workout Indian style, and R&B Lounge (on the beginning of the video below) -that made everybody move through a smooth set of rhythm and blues choreography.
The Quiet Zone was the spot for several types of Yoga and Pilates sessions. For the ones who were into jumping, at the Rebounding Zone they found creative, energetic and fun cardio-vascular workout using mini trampolines.
Besides and exercises, free snacks, lots of samples and goodies were available for everyone. On the sponsored booths, visitors had make overs, tried out snickers and had make over diets with nutritionists and experts advice.
It was very much inspiring seeing people together for the same cause: exercise their bodies, feel better and enjoy a perfect weather day in Central Park. I am looking forward to SELF Magazine 2011 edition!
