Children’s self esteem builds through working out!

Children’s self esteem builds through working out!

I remember when I was around 15, being a late bloomer, my body was suddenly changing (keep in mind not for the better!) and I didn’t know what was happening. I recall crying wondering what these hips and thighs were on me all of a sudden and why my best friend Emily could eat ice cream and if I so much as stared at Ben and Jerry’s I put 10 pounds on my thighs! So I would say for next nine years I struggled with my weight and how to control it.

Honestly if I had had the proper guidance I don’t think I would have suffered all those years. As a parent it is a fine line of interfering into how much your child should eat, when can they can enjoy an ice cream or a piece of candy. I know how hard my parents tried to help me and how much it hurt them to see me suffer.

From personal experience I can say wholeheartedly if your child is suffering from a weight issue or from not feeling strong enough in school sports there is a solution before it gets harder! Personal training/group training and nutritional counseling for kids is a great way to control issues that might spiral out of control. I wish I had the opportunity that now I offer other children.

Whether it is weight, strength, hand-eye coordination, poor eating habits, over eating -whatever the case might be – I will work one on one or if you prefer i now offer a kids boot camp to help children build their self esteem.

No child should feel uncomfortable, nor be made fun of, nor lack confidence! By entrusting your child with me I can promise results that will last them a life time! Please don’t hesitate contact me, Kate Hurwitz, with any questions (646) 242-4624.
