Top 10 Things To Get Through Spring Break And Still Look Great
- Watch the amount of Alcohol you consume -Wine Spritzer’s (half wine/half seltzer)
- Watch out for the ultra sweet frozen drinks or margaritas -stick to a vodka with seltzer and a splash of cranberry with lots of lemons or limes
- When booking your vacation ask if they have a gym in the hotel -make that a priority!
- The first day you are on vacation get up and exercise -if you do not on the first day, you will put it off every day after that
- How often is it that you get to be alone with yourself and power walk/run on a gorgeous beach -take advantage of this!!! Ask your partner/husband/sitter/sister/daughter/parents to watch your kids (if you have them) for 1 hour everyday
- When making or buying sandwiches on vacation -NO mayo, use mustard, a touch of olive oil, sweet peppers, pickles
- Do not go the whole day with out eating! Do not wait till too late in the day when everyone is famished! Make sure to plan where lunch is going to be-packing it, going out that way poor food choices can be avoided!
- Pack snacks! Find a grocery store or bring with you on your trip almonds, raisins, total yogurt, protein bars/shakes, hummus and carrots, fruit. Have them with you at all times so that no one is starved and ends up with french fries as a snack every day
- If you do not have a gym, do not fret! The outside is your gym-mountains near where you are skiing power walk up them, beaches, back roads to explore, etc. Do not allow yourself to make excuses!
- Remember a bench/coffee table is your gym -you can do push ups on them, dips, step ups, kick backs, squats















Watching your alcohol alone will help dramatically. As soon as there is alcohol in your bloodstream, your fat burning sytem STOPS!! The more that you drink, the longer your body can’t burn fat. If you’re trying to look lean, keep it clean!
