I will now tell you how to increase your bench press using two methods I have already spoke of. Those two methods are “The Right Tool For The Job” and “Periodization”.

To increase your bench press you must increase your strength. By using the “The Right Tool For The Job” you will lift in the 4 to 8 repetition range. This rep range is for strength. By using “Periodization” you will use a 3 week rep range that has you performing 8 reps the first week, 6 reps the second and 4 reps the third.

You have to make sure the weight you use is heavy enough to keep you in the chosen rep range. The fourth week use a rep range of 10 reps to give your body a break from the very heavy weights you have been using.

On the resumption of the loading phase make sure to use a weight that is heavier than the first week of the initial loading phase. Incorporating “The Right Tool For The Job” and “Periodization” in this manner will “Increase your Bench Press”.

If you have any questions or  comments, please direct them to us me at Better Body Health and Fitness NYC! and I’ll be happy to respond.

What is Periodization?

Also, watch the video below to see Spencer Olchin explaining what is a periodization training workout and how can you use it to get stronger and improve your exercise routine.
