What is the proper fitness tool for my workout?
As a professional personal trainer, I look at client’s training like a construction worker building something. The difference is I am building using muscle and mind. On occasion I am building a body, other times I am self esteem and others I am building both. Regardless of my clients goals I use the right fitness tool for their workout programs.
Too often I see people using the wrong tools. There are different tools for strength, power, size or endurance. To decide which tool to use I establish my clients goals and design goal oriented results driven exercise programs.
If I have a client who needs to lose weight I don’t use tools to build muscle size adding body-weight. If I have a client who needs to build strength I don’t use tools that build endurance that would not build strength. If I have a client who needs to build power I would use tools that would build power. In this case I may need tools that build a little of everything resulting in power. The most important thing is identifying the clients goals and needs and prioritizing the program.
Many times I see the wrong tool being used for the job of building the client. When you train with Better Body Health and Fitness NYC you can be sure the right fitness tool for your workout will be used to realize your goals.
