The importance of breakfast
I would like to start this post with a few Healthy Breakfast Ideas:

Egg whites and whole grain toast

Oatmeal (steel cut oats)
-
Protein shake (can be made many different ways!)
- Almond butter with whole grain toast
- Scrambled egg whites and nitrate free chicken sausages
- Whole grain pancakes with agave syrup
Breakfast is a must!! If you do not eat breakfast start now! When we think of breakfast, many times we think eggs, bacon,toast,and home fries. Breakfast does not have to be that much and in all honesty that is too much! Eating this much might make you feel tired.
Many of my clients explain this for being the reason why they skip breakfast -it just plain makes them feel tired after a meal. I suggest finding a breakfast meal which best suites you. Some of us might be oatmeal eaters while others are egg eaters. Quite honestly who says you have to eat breakfast food at breakfast?! If its a turkey sandwich you want go for it!
Why is eating breakfast so important? Firstly it kick starts your metabolism. Keep in mind you haven’t eaten now for about 8 hours so one should kick up their metabolism to get the calories burning. Also skipping breakfast can lead to late day snacking.
You might not realize this at the time but I assure you when you start nibbling on snacks and still find yourself hungry at around 4pm this is because your body is actually lacking proper nutrients that it could have gotten at breakfast.
Another reason not to skip breakfast is because a majority of your hard work is done at the beginning of the day. Not only does your body need nutrients so does your brain! The best way to lose weight or to just plain start eatng better is to start with breakfast!
