How to find time to workout during the day
Finding the time to workout and using that time efficiently is not an easy task.
Most of us find that life is hectic and there never seems to be enough time to dedicate to working out. Whether it be long days at the office or long days at home (or if home is the office!), there is a chunk in that day that can be put aside just for you. Take out your calendar on Sunday night and prepare your week.
It is important to organize your time and if you do this, I promise somewhere in that day you can find an hour. The key is to schedule your workouts like you would any other appointment. Start by shooting for 3 of these “appointments” a week.
Now that you have these 3 appointments set you ask yourself what should I do, cardio or weights? How can I get in enough cardio and enough weight training and take a shower to get back to my hectic life??!! The best way to maximize that 1 hour is to circuit train with cardio sprints in between. ie:set up a full body routine with 2 minute treadmill sprints between each exercise.
I suggest doing an upper to lower body exercise then abs then sprint. Continue this sequence until you have hit each muscle group. Now you have made sure to have toned and strengthened your body while burning calories. Keep yourself moving through at an intense pace and you will amaze yourself with how much you were able to accomplish within just that hour!
By the end of that week, there is nothing like that feeling of accomplishment! Finding the time to exercise can be done! You deserve it. Find the time to take care of your body, and your body will love you for it!
